This is a time unlike any most of us have ever seen. Streets are nearly empty in some cities, shops are closing, most businesses are under tremendous financial pressure, and thousands of people are losing their jobs.
As a software development company, we've been striving to determine how we can best align our expertise with what people need today.
To that end, while we are still available to discuss custom development projects, we've quickly created specific implementations of some of our products. For our e-commerce product SHOPLYS, we're currently aimed at setting people up with a new online business - particularly in the creative arts and skilled trades markets.
We feel this is a segment that is hard hit by the lack of events, gatherings and shows that would typically be used to promote creative works. We also feel these industries could use help adding an online e-commerce element to their businesses.
We hope that everyone is complying with the directions given by their local governments and staying safe and healthy. We're confident we'll get through this sooner rather than later, and we're here to help in whatever way we can.
